As I was scrolling through my phone last night to kill time, little did I know that I would find inspiration in a picture I had seen at least a hundred times.
Maybe sometimes depending on our state of mind, details enchant us to carry us to a different world.
As soon as my sight was captured, my mind said Yin Yang which is a Chinese philosophy meaning the flow of the dark and bright Into each other.
By explanation, it is the interconnection and the interdependency of opposite or contrary forces, how they compliment each other in the natural world, giving rise to one another as they interrelate.
The symbole is known to most of us
The black area represents the yin, and some of its characteristics are:Passive, Intuitive, Delusion, Moon, Dark, Cold, Submission, seeking, Night, Soft, Stillness, and Rivers
In its turn, the white area represents the yang and has among others the following attributes:
Active, Logical, Enlightenment, Bright, Sun, Light, Creation, Dominance, Strong, Hot, Hard, Movement, and Mountains
And together they represent the interaction of energies found in all things.
Going back to the picture, here I stand next to the person that knows me inside out, my sister.
Throughout our upbringing we were made to love each other and constantly be with one another at the beginning by force by our mother, and later on by choice for we somehow became inseparable.
Those of you who know us, know how different we are, but in the same time we know what the other is thinking when the latter doesn’t even personally know what’s on their own mind.
